  2. It was not part of the original master plan attached. St Bede Original Master Plan
  3. Has the church spent money to design and change the master plan for the bell tower?

  1. faithful parishioner says:

The bell tower appeared in a conceptional drawing for the add-on to Saint Bede–classrooms and office space, etc–that was put on hold during Fr Abe’s tenure–but the One Table folks explained that was merely an artistic embellishment and not part of the plan.

  2. Take Away The Punch Bowl says:

If we follow in the foot steps of the Federal Government we may continue the spending spree and grow our way out of the debt. The Church bell may be rung to bring the masses.

  3. Crucesignatus Sancti Bedae Ecclesiae Catholicae says:

    This would be beautiful!! :)

Wouldn’t it be lovely? Imagine: the sound of a church bell calling the faithful to Mass: the voices of the angels calling to us to come, come receive Him, Who is the Creator of all that is good.

As to whether people may be “disturbed” or “offended” by it… it’s time for Catholics to stop cringing and apologizing for all that is good and true. It’s time to stand up for the One True Church and give her every ounce of our energy to make the bride of Christ known to a world which so desperately needs her. It is the time to stand with the bishops and rally to Christ crying “Long live the Catholic Church!” because if we do not stand up for her, who will?

Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.–G. K. Chesterton
